What is needed: Paperwork: Before the inspection we need some agreement forms filled out and signed. We also need the Multiple Listing information. You could send the sheet or a link to the sheet online. This may be emailed or faxed to us. Utilities: 24 Hours before the inspection the electric, water, and gas utilities need to be turned on. This makes it easier to inspect for leaks and test the function of the appliances. Normally the listing agent makes sure the home is ready for inspection. Our insurance company does not allow us to turn on the utilities. If these utilities are not on when we inspect, we would not be able to test everything. Both of us can work together to communicate this to the agents to make sure our inspection is complete.
